OK, my apologies for being offline but last weekend Aug. 13-15 was a national Holiday dating back to Ancient Rome

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferragosto

Did I win the Scavenger Hunt challenge or ... ?

I would have something in mind...

Sorry for the delay...

OK, sorry for the delay but things have been getting in the way...

SCAVENGER HUNT CHALLENGE (THIS IS A BIG ONE!)

YOUR MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, SHOULD YOU DECIDE TO ACCEPT IT, IS

"...to take a picture of a Full Patch Club member from any local MC (not necessarily a 1%er) sitting on your bike, or, to say the least, his Colors draped over your bike."

"As usual, should you be caught or killed, the Suzuki Forum Secretary shall deny all knowledge of any of your actions"

Cool

Tell them it's for a Charity Treasure Hunt...

Mind you, you do NOT have to go up to a Hells Angel or Bandido and make him an offer which can't be refused...

... if there is a masonic Lodge in your area, I'm sure there will be Masonic Riders formed into a Club or Riding association.

Masonic Motorcycle Club, http://masonicmotorcycleclub.org/

Widows Sons, http://www.widowssons.com/

You may also find Chapters of the Low Twelve and Hiram's Knights

* Low Twelve meaning "midnight" as opposed to High Twelve which is midday.

Here's my own Colors draped over my Savage (I took the picture myself just a few minutes ago)

As many have problems seeing my pictures, will someone please save the picture on whatever website of their choice and rečpublish it in this thread ?
Smiley Thank you.

Save it somewhere on your computer. When you want to post it, just click the browse button and add it to your post. No need to host it anywhere. The bad thing is you can only post 1 picture at a time.

Sounds doable. It shouldn't be something easy like "post a picture of your bike and a mailbox". That wouldn't be much fun!

Huh

Do I take it nobody is willing to take the challenge ?

Lips Sealed

Is it THAT bad ?

Or is it that you're just too lazy to go and leaf through your phone book and call a Club House ?

Your challenge isn't much of a challenge for me.
I regularly ride with Patriot Guard, and we have riders who are patched with local MCs.
Lacking that, there are always some at one of my "end of ride" watering holes.  The guys that have ridden the Hill Country with me know "The Shade Tree".   I did not take them to another one.. "Hangin' Tree Saloon", another "biker bar".  Yes.. there is such a place: http://www.hangintree.com/

Yeah..  I'll get you a picture, and if I MUST be the next selector of the challenge, you won't like it  Shocked Cheesy

So... leave the challenge as it stands.   We should not wimp out!!  Cheesy

my S-40 is down waiting on a cam chain but I could do it with the Sportster today .   Tongue

I don't want to twist the rules so I'll wait till the S-40 is on the road again , might be a week ??? I don't have the chain yet .  Roll Eyes

MM:

Nobody said you bike has to be running to be in the Scavenger hunt.

Just throw you CMA vest on the stationary bike....and take a photo!

Roll Eyes

I had the CMA bunch over Friday night for BBQ and started to put one of them on the Savage but ... well , it didn't seem fair to everybody else.   I'm still waiting on my cam chain.

The Sportster had a magnet on the flywheel slip making the flywheel out of balance.  I did get my new flywheel today !  Smiley
In all fairness , its a long story --- not totally Harley's fault .  Roll Eyes
