I sure hope ED is able to regroup and start making these again.
I cannot possibly keep up w/ even the demand for the 6" FCs for these bikes. We absolutely need ED to keep doing the shorter ones

Give me some time to get squared away on the projects I have going already with my new lathe and mill, and I might just pitch in and help out with some in aluminum.  Only thing I might do alittle different is to delete the stock peg mounts and have a universal mount hole for aftermarket pegs instead, since alot of people seem to want to change out their pegs as well.  I've also come up with a design to do a heal toe shifter for floor boards but one of the tools I'll need for my mill isn't cheap so that will be a little ways off before I can do that.

I actually did have my kit down to a highly qualified computerized machine shop speciallizing in alumunum throttle and steering parts for alumunum jet boats. Making all the parts was no problem, but he just could not come up w/ anyway to complete the assemblies w/ o the same welding that I am doing. And that kinda defeats the purpose of going w/ polished alumunum.

Yeah there are a few things that I'm still trying to figure out on the final design, to keep the material costs and machining time down so I don't have to use a big block of aluminum to do it with, but I'll eventually get there.  It's just something I've been working on the design of off and on for awhile now, when I've had the time.  Once I get the design finished I'll do the prototype and test it to make sure it works properly before I start making them available to all here.

Hi Ed. I would like to order a set of forward controls. Can you arrange shipping to London UK?
I noticed you sell them for $80
It's the price still the same?

I too would love a set if you still have an old 5" set laying around, or any of newer ones are finished, or if anyone has a set not being used.

I'm finally getting around to installing these, I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck painting them? I was thinking of getting some etching primer and black paint but I'm not sure how well it will hold up. Anyone else try yet? Thanks
