Savage_Rob, were the 4" risers necessary to avoid hitting the tank? Im thinking of getting the 32 inch bars from that site or maybe some sportster bars. Also are dimples needed?

I've been trying to locate the thread that showed how to make your own risers. I've used the search option but haven't found anything.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I read somewhere on here about using 19mm deep-well sockets as risers ... install with the stock buck-horn bar clamps, but you'll need longer stem bolts ... maybe someone who's done this mod can elaborate?

I did the 19mm socket risers. It does take longer bolts but they are easy to locate. I have had no problems,

Those are HD bars. The knurling is a bit closer together than stock bars, but enough grab that they don't move.

Hey clueless, do you know which Harley bars they are?

Also, what are the 2 clamps that are mounted half way up the rise on the bars?

My dyna bars clear the tank with stock risers by an 1/8" of an inch.  Clearance is dependant mostly upon how low you tilt them in the riser.  I just rotated them down to minimum clearance with the wheel turned full right and then locked it down.  Feels pretty comfortable there.

I'm not clueless (though some may argue) Grin And boy if there was ever a pitch for a punch line...

But seriously, I'd like to know exactly what HD bars those are too; because they are nice, as are the socket/risers.

The clamps be for a windshield I'd guess.

BTW, I have the same risers as Rob, but my bars have a slight rise; are 32" wide, and only a little angle back and down. As seen by the visable knurling, they are also originally made-for-HD bars.

That setup fits me well. I can put my elbows at normal rest, and my hands will fall right onto the grips without 'reaching' (just as it should be IMO).
