Add about 15 to your original number and you'll have the answer you're looking for.

It's just a hot topic to one person.
I'd think that the Superbrace listed for the Savage would fit your '06.

All of you have missed the point. The superbrace is CHROME!!!!! When it comes to CHROME, money should not be an object.

Wrong Torque. Forks do flex. The Superbrace is a nice product and will improve handling.
Superbrace has been selling their fork brace since before you were born Torque. If their product did nothing do you think they would still be in business? It's a very good product.

Actually it is highly polished stainless, if I read the website right... if I didn't, my sincerest apologies!

From their site:
Quote:
Every SuperBrace is made of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and machined to a tolerance of + or - .002 of an inch, with a polished finish.
The optional fork seal protectors are polished stainless.

heres something off another forum
"Kuryakyn has added a Superbrace to their line. It looks nicer than the Superbrace but it's another rape the customer $ item. At least Kuryakyn's is good looking and has some type of adjustment"
at least i'm not alone

I would agree with that assessment but from a point of view of price; not efficacy.

On my TZR 250 forks (SR project) the brace/mudguard mount is bolted to two lugs on each fork slider and 4 bolts to the guard. The std. one is 1.5mm thick the one I got from a breaker (£15) is 6mm thick, don't know who made it though.
Ti taper head allen bolts throughout and anchor nuts (oh-er) on the mudguard.

The 06 S40 has fork seal protectors that would be in the way. I haven't seen these in person but have heard that they are plastic and could be removed.
