I got a full face helmet but I havent been wearing it because it is too hot and I cant see my stock speedometer. I got my new sigma and I can see my speed now so I better start using my helmet again.
I need to get a skid lid or something smaller for hot days.

I have a skid lid that I wear...seldom.
Helmet's bother me, since I ride without the windsheild most of the time, and in Texas it's okay to ride without...so I do. Most of the time.
Oh, but in the rain, I always wear.

It may not be your time to go but it could certainly be your time to find the road a lot closer than you would like.
To each his own but justify it not, for justice will find it's own way.
Me? Half helmet just like the LEOs. Not gonna save the chin but maybe the thinking part will be spared a "deleted file" or two.

I'll be wearing a full face when I get my bike. Some people say full face looks funny on a cruiser. My thoughts: It'll look funnier if I fall and my brain is in tact but I ground off my whole face.

In New Zealand helmets are compulsory - cyclists, mopeds and motorbikes.
Full face, by choice, for me and most others on anything bigger than 50cc

Helmet by law. IMO it slightly increases the possibility of a collision in L.A. city traffic.
When it wasn't the law I wore a helmet dirt and highway.

Helmet. It's required here. Actually, I've never riden without a helmet and wouldn't feel right without one.

I'm not riding to impress anyone. I just enjoy my ride; and I feel more comfortable that the full face helmet is there if it's ever needed.

Full face helmet. Doesn't look cool but I'm too old to care.
