I'm really satisfied with the performance of my MAC but I would like to make it just a bit quieter.  That's why I decided to try the Sportster muffler at some point.  It's in the garage, I just need to take the time and do the mods.

'96 with harley muff with baffle punched. Kinda loud. I like it Grin

Hello Clueless,

I'm also interested in louder pipe, but not too much. I wonder how loud the Harley muffler you have is. I also have a Harley muff on my 1990, 400cc, chain-driven thumper.

My only concern is the restriction to exhaust flow required for the engine. Did you just punch an iron bar through the muff to punch it out?

Thanks for your input.

Best,

RW

Today I've had opportunity to hear cobra exhaust on Wild Star 1600... Shocked...It was at least like four savages with mufflers like mine, so probably I dont need to worry about the noise produced by my new muffler  Smiley
