Been looking at some used shocks on fleabay. The vs800, intruder, s50 are all the same bike? That's the shock I should be looking for if the progressive is too spendy?

Mine is a vs800 Intruder... adds about 2" travel...
... bolts right on,.. but, if you keep the stock belt guard, you'll have to trim just a bit on it...
Hunt around the RSD... I just posted some pics in somebodies thread...

yup the VS800 in the 11" or 12" are the ones you want. on the 11" version you won't have to do anyu mods at all, to the belt guards and they still provide a little extra travel. I'll dig out my box over the next day or 2 to get the part number for the 11" one that I got. They are great on setting 3 for me when I rid 2up and I'm 225lbs with the passenger at around 140lbs. I drop the setting down to 1 or 2 when I'm riding solo, In retro spec though I wish I would have went with the 12" version so I wouldn't have had to change out the bolts on the fender side rails to button head bolts as I still reach close to full compression on some roads here in some of the E. TX roads.
