Savage's biggest enemy?

What do you think is your suzi's biggest enemy out there? Sand on the pavement? (scary stuff) A bit of gravel? Cage drivers with their blinkers on? A particularly tough corner or your own 'joie de vivre' most riders get sometimes when they're feelin' good and goin' fast?

Oil on the road, especialy in a corner. When it starts raining after a long period of dryness.

Sand on the road is pretty scary especially since trucks like to dump it in the middle of a corner.

Biggest enemy? Lack of maintenance, as in oil changes. Small capacity, air cooled engine, it's the only thing between your engine and destruction. Change it often.

Gotta go with cages as the immediate threat and politicians for the long-term demons...

Speaking of squirrels ... one day last year I was driving to work (in my car) and I noticed a squirrel *walking* across the street. He was actually walking, not hopping (maybe he handn't had his morning coffee yet;-)
He finally looked up and saw me, turned around and started to run back to the far side of the street .. and was nailed *flat* by a car coming the other way.

I forgot about dogs - just about had a run-in today with a couple of big german shepherds that came bounding out of a driveway...man! they are scary! If you hit 90 lbs. of dog, you might not make it through the encounter!
