Sluggo, you have a point.
My first ride on the savage was a mere... 500 miles, and I'm putting another 200+ today on the final leg.
Then, admittedly on 'sunny days only' she'll be the commuting bike for an easy 35 miles/day, and anothe 400 on weekends (200 over, 200 return). Overall, well over 2000 miles/month.
Of course, that's a theoretical maximum, with rain, frost and 'elegant dress' days requiring the car.
Still, having to replace the chain every year outwheighs the advantages of saving a few bucks in gas.

So this means that finding the correct sprockets, is all that is necessary.  Cool.  Let the oil slinging begin  Grin
