Recovery was slow and painful -- but it was a full recovery. One day this will be just a nasty memory for your wife. Sending hopes for a speedy, relatively pain-free recovery to your wife, and good thoughts to you and the rest of your family.

From a black sheep in faraway Chile, who doesn't believe in God or anything like that, my heart goes out to you, your wife and your family.

As other said, one good thing is that she did not hurt your grandson, that would have been even worse.

Just for what it means, I was on a wheelchair for one month and on crutches for another two, but I eventualy went out good.

Take care of your wife and yourself.
