Valve clearance - what's with Clymer

Clymer doesn't give any measurements for the valve adjustment/tuning.  Anyone know what it should be?

You'r absolutely right.

Suzuki WSM says the same.
Better be in the .004 to .005 range. And don't forget to adjust the decompression cable slack at the same time.

Thanks all.  For curiosity - does the Clymer print this somewhere else in the manual that i've missed.  I was just following through the valve procedure in the manual and it didn't give the measurement there - so just wondering if it's in one of their "tables" or something.

I know I've seen it but it may have been in the owner's manual.  I have to believe it's in the Clymer's somewhere though.  Now I'm interested and will need to look it up at home later.

You'r right. Clymer has the "figures" at the back of the chapter in the tables.
