Finally!!! THIS!!

Just last Wednesday I bought my slightly used(1180 mi.) 1996 Yellow Suzuki Savage!!! I have been excited about this bike for quite some time, and I am so glad This forum/site has been created. Dedicated to the Savage!!!!! I will have pictures to send shortly.

Just wanted to say hello! I am Andy, 22 yrs old , Central Valley, CA.

This bike is awesome. Couldn't ask for anything more. I would ask questions, but I read enough to find out all the answers I needed.. RIGHT HERE ON THIS SITE!

Since I have only had the bike a week, I was only able to get one thing done, and that was to repaint my HD helmet to match the yellow on my bike. I will post pictures when I return home on Monday..

Welcome. Where in the Central Valley? -- we might be close enough to meet at a mountain part way on Savage Mountain Day.

Yeah, it's a good site -- supportive, friendly. Makes up for the odd looks you get from other people. (such as the guy that was frowning at my engine to the point I remarked, "I'm missing something." "Yeah," he replied slightly confused, "the other cylinder." I rode off laughing.

Talk about a warm welcome, I am about to overheat! I am in Modesto, CA... I am sure you all know where that is now, after the fiasco. It has been hard to get out and ride w/ the weather lately, but I have managed to get out and get a better feel for the bike. This bike has great power for a single cylinder! I rode a suzuki katana 650, and it scared me! Being able to sit up on the bike, put my feet flat on the ground (im only 5'7) makes it so much more enjoyable. I just finished my helmet for my bike, and I'll take some pictures (ima slacker) and post em up!
