Because some that have to ask this, buy low-end bikes.
So, the accessories have to sit on a shelf until one decides to keep the ol’ thing and does not trade up, and instead "accessorizes"…no market.
This is a good thing.
We won't all ride clones.
"They" want you to "move up" to a costlier ride too.
More chrome, more cc'c, more gas, more insurance etc.
Thankfully lots of H-D (hunnerd dollars) stuff is out there for the industrious.
