Ask suggestions for changing handle bar.

Hi All. I hope everyone having good day.
I bought used Harley Z-bar for my 08 bike.
Used Z-bar left grip already glued and right grip is free.
I didn't check carefully clutch housing before I purchase my mistake.
It looks like I need to slide clutch lever housing to end of bar.
Both bars left grips are glued.
How to remove those grips without cutting?
Just in case if z-bar doesn't work I want to reuse grips.
Also anything I should be careful while mounting z-bar?

Kylejang, You can pry it around end with small screw driver to loosen glue bond, then try and use compressed air to get it off. Take an are gun with a narrow tube and stick it under grip where you loosened it and start to blow air in. Work tube in as far as you can, going around perimeter to loosen it progressively deeper. If lucky you will be able to break glue bond and with a little air pressure applied while pulling on it and twisting, be able to remove it.

I shove a small diameter Phillips screwdriver in a ways...then spray some WD40 and work that around under the grip until it comes loose.

WD40 also work really well for putting them back on....it is slippery at first and then it goes away after a day or so and locks the grip into place (not sure how it works on foam grips).

It is surprising how well the grips stick after the WD40 dries.

I've removed my grips twice by shoving a stiff wire, attached to a drill,

under the grip. Turn the drill on and the stiff wire will walk around the handle bar: apply a pulling force to the grip whilst the drill is activated and the grip can be removed.

Both switch housings have enough length but brake line and clutch cable are too short for Z-bar so reinstalled original handle bar for now.
What would be the best option and cheapest option?
Getting longer clutch cable and brake hose as the best option?
Or change riser to 3/8" drive 3/4" sockets then try z-bar as the cheapset option? What you guys prefer?
Also what should be best looking way install z-bar for S40?
Z-bar horizontally straight up or align with front forks?
