Anyone know if the timing plug (alternator/generator cover) from a different model Suzuki will fit the 650 Savage; preferably one with the hex socket instead of the screwdriver slot?  Had to pull the cylinder head cover this weekend to replace a leaking headbolt plug and basically destroyed mine getting it to come loose. Tried heat, impact driver, ect. and finally got it loose but it's unusable now.  Never had one of those come out that hard???

Antisieze is your friend.
You can put it in, don't crush it, make a mark across the edge and watch it. If it starts to back out, give it a nudge,a sharpie will last long enough to get miles on it.
