Grill open,.. ignore the bugs...
(the fasteners are a couple of those bendy things that hold the wiring harness in place,... works pretty well)

Mudflap close-up...
(that's running floor mat sold at Ace Hardware by the running ft.... it's pretty cheap useful stuff)...
