Well, for what it's worth, the stock fender on my S40 bugs me a lot. I can't quite pin down what it is. It probably has something to do with the fact it's on shocks, so it needs the clearance. And, something about the shape. I'll keep scratching my head and maybe one day I'll come up with something I like better, which will probably involve more learning of new skills Grin

It is heavy as the dickens, the frame actually ends right where the rider seat ends. The fender is so thick with a plate under it that that much metal is needed to keep the passenger seat and the grab rails etc on. Heavy heavy heavy.
