Jetting

Someone sent me a question about the jetting on my carb but I cannot remember or find who that person is, so if that is you please post here.

I am running a 22.5 pilot and a 190 main jet , with the needle clip on the middle (3rd) notch.  (36mm VM with UFO, INT-J & QFTW)
Thanks

LANCER, On your carb settings, did you have to drill a hole in the needle jet,  or solder the pilot jet shut ?  The only way I got mine to idle right was to drill the needle jet. I'm using a pod air filter .

So are you the person who ask me?

Yes, I drill the needle jet hood with a 3/32” bit.
I get better results by not soldering a pilot jet, but jetting normally.
A filter change can be beneficial if a good one is chosen.  Did you see the thread on air filter comparison tests ?  Good stuff.
