Start up issues?
01/02/20 at 16:12:34

So the other day I set my battery on a battery tender and let it get a full charge because after changing my petcock to the raptor 660  the bike wouldn't start. then today I put it in and the bike started up, then died. Then I opened the choke and the bike started up it idled but then once I let go of the clutch in neutral it died again. I pulled the hose off of the petcock from the carb and switched it to on and gas came out so
I don’t think it’s the petcock  . Now
I’m trying to turn it on again and it’s making that same noise as last Time before I charged the battery..

How old is the battery?
And what type of battery (lead acid, AGM, Gel)?
Did it sound right at all when trying to start?
If it did then how many times before I started to sound like that recording?

wish I knew how old it was but the mechanic shop I bought the bike from said they swapped the battery (claimed it was new) but who really knows *shrug* ill pull the battery out tomorrow and get further info on it in terms of brand and what not. haven't had this issue before so I can't tell if its just a bad battery or what but I did just order a multimeter

Also the video has no visuals as my phone was resting on the gas tank I just uploaded it to have people hear the sound.

From the sound, it appears the battery is dead or dying.

Got the sound to play, and it does sound like a bad battery , if you were working on the lights and left the key on for an extend period,  without starting the bike,  that can ruin your ignition TDI . It's always a good idea to unplug the TDI to avoid damage .
If you have jumper cables and a car battery you could try that (car NOT running).
