 They make sense and apply to a degree.  I was simply stating that adult conversation is expected, but not reciprocated in this thread.

 I asked what the topic was about and instead of answering with anything useable Webstermark indicated that he somehow knew I was:

1. Around people.

2. What those people discuss

3. That we had access to a global news source

 This concludes that the specific news he was referencing was available at my specific location, to multiple people, and that those people would choose to discuss that specific topic with me.

 I found that interesting as I was not in that scenario at all.  Yet asking a question extended a conversation with zero productive dialogue.
