Gender brace made from flat stock.

Really? Maybe you should move this to the Tall Table.

Gender brace instead of fender brace. Interesting typo. I fixed it but it leaves me wondering what exactly a gender brace would do.

Thank you for the close ups Zook!  I ordered a fender from TCBros that should arrive in a few days.  How do you think a single L bracket in the center front of the swingarm held in place with a self tapping screw would hold up?  Is there a lot of stress on the front rear fender mount?

Maybe it's what people use if they are unable to afford the pill.

I would consider bolting if the bike is a hardtail ,but if you have shocks, and that part of the swingarm moves up and down only a fraction of the amount the shocks do, sheet metal screws may work.

There isn’t a lot of Stress on the fender mount but there is a great deal of vibration. I think two connections are always better than one and a nut and bolt are sturdier than a self taping screw. I used one of each because I didn’t have enough confidence that the self taping screw would hold all on it’s own.
