At this point, the trump administration is using it (the caravan) as a tool of fear to his fervent base. That's what seems to work best.

Too bad so few of them know where this caravan is at the moment, and what they're seeking asylum from.

It varies but most of it is cartel related from what I understand. Its hard for people that sit in the safety of the US to get a clear understanding of what goes on out there, especially in S America.

Beheadings are more common now, at least in most recorded cases they drug the victims. Gang rape is common, making husbands watch is common, its a standard control feature. This happens in the US too but not in the scale it does elsewhere.

This does not mean to imply that 100% of the people in a caravan are seeking asylum, or need it. This is an attempt to describe a situation that happens where people can be seeking asylum in response to the question "Asylum from what?" exclusively.

let's bolster our immigration court and it's ability to process them, some will be able to stay and some go back depending on their individual case.

oh, and while we're at it, let's quit passing laws and then only financing 1/3 of the ability to enforce those laws via our constitutional standards.

the wall is a cheap cop out way of dealing with this issue
