Not at all. I come here mostly to point out hypocrisy on the right. I do believe that a Democratic Socialist viewpoint is far better than conservative. But to each their own. I'm just showing the people who tell me my house isnt in order how messy their own house is.

Someone probably should, but of course no one actually will. Not the Mexicans,not the Border Patrol,not the US Military, not even some horde of crazed angry deplorables, nor even the devil incarnate Donald Trump himself.

Seven, maybe ten, thousand in this particular "caravan". A drop in the bucket compared to the millions already here. Mere theatre.

It's already too late.

I posted this link before, in a conversation a while ago about unchecked immigration. Pretty sure no one bothered to read it. It's a book after all, and a work of fiction so it will take some effort, and a bit of imagination and perhaps some introspection to to get the point.

Even the first few chapters will give the gist to anyone who takes the time.

What is happening right in front of us is the beginning of the future envisioned in this:

No, we don't agree. We don't want to be in the situation Europe's in. We stop them and we stop them hard. No ambiguity, no misunderstandings. You will not cross our border. Turn around and go back. Mexico should have tried harder to stop them because it's their problem now.

Before you cry how inhumane this is, I'd point out that a drowning man pulls anyone down with him. We need to stay strong. That's why a wall is needed along with other immigration policies. It does the world no good in the long run to turn the US into the same $hithole they just left.

You feel sorry and want to help them? Fine, that's the right thing to do, but go to their country and help there. Set up a system of laws there. Enforce those laws. Let freedom spread in their countries and prosperity will follow.
