I wrecked my 2011 and I've found a used parts dealer who has a 04 for peg. Is there a reference guide, or some other way of knowing without possibly wasting the money to buy and find out? Thanks for taking the time to read

The last re-badge was pretty much that, just a change in name and with a discontinued back rest. More knowledgeable posters can help better than I.

Can confirm ... once the rubber is off it doesn't take much with a hammer or a vice to abuse the peg back into acceptable shape.

Reply #9 - 10/22/18 at 03:16:37 2004 is when a lot of the wiring changed - along with the shape/style of the turn signals. The wire connectors for the harness changed, and the bike got emergency flashers and a headlight flasher button.
