I found a guy selling new Kuryakyn 1 1/4" Engine Guard Mounted Driving Lights for $50.

I don't have a engine guard. Is it possibly mount to top of front fork?
If it is good I am thinking about buying a switch and wiring kits too.

Which part makes power output? I know cars have alternator.
I am going through online parts finder but I couldn't  find alternator.

And ours has an estimated output of 10 amps , it takes 7-8 amps to run the bike (ignition& lighting ) which leaves 2-3 amps to recharge your battery,and none for extra lights, or things like heated vests or grips. you would be much better off investing in a replacement headlight if you feel the stock one doesn't do the job , many owners have.

If you want more light, Dave has been involved in several threads about changing to a led bulb.
I swaped to a led 20/40 watt sealed beam ( stock is a 55/60 H4 ) a GREAT improvement! BUT it was NOT a bolt-on change, it takes some work. I then mounted 2 - 15 watt led driving lights and have over 50,000 miles with no problem. Total cost was about $120, and a LOT of time.
This is the best lighting I ever had on a bike, better than my truck.
The 30 watts for driving lights and 20 for the headlight total less than the stock low beam. But if you add more lights with the stock H4 bulb, like Dave said you will draw too much power.
If you add 30 or so watts with led driving lights and only use them at high rpm for short times you MIGHT get away with it. ( or you may push home in the dark)
Your best path is a led sealed beam in a new bucket ( they won't fit in a stock one ) and it should still cost less than a couple $200 + H1 driving lights.
