As I recall, there was no Tall Table. It was part of the café. A new section was started because The Café was being dominated by politics.

There was a guy named Starlifter. A TT type character. He left, came back under a different profile and came back again. We weren't any different in 2012 than we are in 2018.

I went back and scanned some threads from August of 2012.

Observations: 1) there were far more participants. 2) Seems to be a broader field of topics 3) I didn't see the hatred we have now. (Thanks TT) 4) A lot of the topics are still the same. Climate change, healthcare, Obama, Bush... funny but I wonder if we did a search on Trump, when would his name first come up.
