I think the rest of us felt that the bikes should look like they had been ridden.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

The trouble really started when we hit MM's place on a weekend his local CMA chapter was putting on a bike beauty contest and Dave and MM and others got all beauty conscious.

I stayed at MM's that afternoon with my as-is used unwashed bike and shot me some rifles instead. Roll Eyes

Pretty bikes are more fun to stop on ... Every where we stop , the crowd gathers around Dave's bike with their backs to mine ! Embarrassed

On the down side Dave's bike get DRUEL all over it every time we walk away from it , yea terrible looking mess by time we get back from lunch ! Grin

That time he cleaned mine , "I still got the TROPHY"

I even carry a cleaning rag in my Trunk/side pocket now ! Cool

Yep , Clean machines are fun , most of the time.

PS ... If I'm late getting to Kerrville it might have something to do with showing up with less Road-Grit ... Roll Eyes
