So many countries with freedoms of privacy but no guns,... and they have so few mass shootings.
But hey,.. lets not allow reality to interfere with hyperbole...

Is that one of those places,
where the Government has removed all Freedom.
 So a  Terrorist/Criminal,
can only drive a car into a group of people ?

Ben Franklin once said: "If you give up a freedom, for the sake of security, you will have neither".
Which is More TRUE, today, than yesterday.('06, S-40, Stock) well, mostly .

Name another country where the People are the sovereign and the government, according to the constitution, is their Servant.

The Reason for the second amendment remains as explained in our founding documents.

I like the armed teacher idea, provided that they undergo proper training. I am not talking about a couple of hours at the range either, but a thorough background check, and a firearms training course. Let's face it, I know that these are "kids" in the schools, but a 16, 17, or 18 year old is old enough to know what the heck he is doing when he pulls the trigger. If just one innocent life could be saved, the whole thing would be worth it. Or maybe have a couple of trained and armed security officers per school. Sit them in a room with cameras in the classrooms and halls and let them do their job. I know it is expensive, but the state or federal governments have no problem throwing money down the proverbial rabbit hole. We could spend some to keep our children safer. Ain't it a shame that the evil in some people has made it so that we even consider things like this?
