Building An Engine Stand ?

i just cut up a spare frame and left the engine cradle in one piece to build a stand .
Anyone ever done this ?
Any advice or pics ?

Well, I guess I am the first one to chop up a frame to use it as an engine stand so I guess I will show it .

Nice I like it. I may have trimmed it down a little further. I used a selection of different sized blocks to keep mine from rolling over , it works.

I honestly kept the down tube that long so that if 8 ever wanted to test fit a custom exhaust with an engine on the bench I could make sure that I had clearance.

Nice!
I did one like that a million years ago for our SR500 racer.
I made a motor stand for the Savage recently, but a very different approach.

Great idea! That extra down tube will come in handy when you need some leverage while torquing the jug or something. Now I know what I'm doing with the old frame I have lying around.
