I can go on with examples, but I know you don't care, so.....

HUh?... Huh

Maybe you should, because I have no idea what you're saying...

Is it OK, that a comedian holds the Presidents severed head in her hand?
Is it OK for teachers to talk of killing our President?
Is it OK for a politician to hope for the Presidents death?

Civility takes TWO PEOPLE exhibiting it.....
Do you understand that?

Or do you think your beliefs should be manifest at ALL COST?

Is tolerance a one way street?

I am NOT excusing Trumps behavior, he is reaping what he sows.....
Just as those whining about him pushing back, are reaping too.

I desire him to act like what I believe a President should, REGARDLESS of the topic/issue.
I believe he needs to example civility, even when it is not extended to him.

If you don't understand this, I am sorry, I can't help you.

What wars have we been in that actually were important to save the American way?

I have read where the USA handling of Europe after WW1 led to Hitler, etc, however, that does not explain the motivation for Imperial Japan.

Blame your schools. We blockaded Japan and interfered with their commerce. They import about everything, and we shut them down. Don't ascribe the clues that we knew Pearl Harbor was coming to conspiracy theory. Or maybe you believe that evil exists everywhere EXCEPT in America.

I asked you to support the claim that our military has been being used to protect our Freedoms.

I believe the blockades were done to strangle the war machine that they already had implemented into the quest to dominate much of the world through expansion.
If you look back to the 30's war was not on our agenda....
The economy was doing very well, the American Dream speeding along at a healthy pace, bringing many folks into prosperity.

Ya know Jog, we can never know with certainty how things might presently be if America had not acted as it had.
You are free to guess and question, but you have the luxury of looking backwards and seeing things now, that we didn't know, then.

It is much like arguing that our founding fathers were racists because we compare them to the standards of today's social norms.
Not possible.

You Jog worry over Muslim immigration and see threats, what percentage of this faith is ISIS?

I see selective propaganda accepting buddy  Kiss

Which wars have we HAD to engage in or risk losing the American way of life?
If you're gonna stand up and declare that the players Must honor the people who fought and died to protect those freedoms, at least tell me which wars were necessary TO protect them.

And then, when you're done with that, please explain how engaging in exercising those very freedoms must result in punishment.
Do you even KNOW why these athletes are protesting?

I would venture to say, more like, duped......

Every GTO for sell was NOT, owned by a little old lady from Pasadena  Grin

Google P.T. Barnum, made a fortune off of clowns.....
Look at Mark Twain.

Look at what they said years ago.

Here is a list of much good insight.
Look through some of those folks.

http://www.literaryhistory.com/19thC/19th_century_American.htm

Biblically, Solomon learned, after trying to find "it", that there is no, "it"
That we are just dust in the wind.
That as much as things change, they stay the same.
That there really is nothing new under the sun......

You know why?

Because we will never change, ever.
Man is only of need of three basic needs.
They are shelter, food, and companionship.

Everything else is just about how we manipulate others, and, OURSELF, trying to get those three basic needs satisfied.

However, when I see a better bike, well, my needs just changed  Wink

Not going to agree on:

A comedian holds the Presidents severed head in her hand.
Teachers to talk of killing our President?
A politician to hope for the Presidents death?

Or:
‘You get to keep YOUR  gun, but I cannot’
‘You get to  BLOCK  a  Hy-Way, But I cannot’
‘You get to, STEEL,  Loot,  BURN, but I cannot’
‘You can call, ‘FIRE’  in a Theater,  (Raceist), and I cannot’.
‘You can get, EVERYTHING, for FREE, (because you are Not a, Citizen), but I cannot’
“You can make, DEATH, Threats, to local Police, but I cannot’
(On and ON and ON and ON.)

(Now, this is NOT  directed at one person, it is,  ‘generic’)

When you can show me the absolute results of not having engaged in a war, then we can discuss if it was for freedom, or something else.
My guess is perfectly useless.
