I believe, he was, ’Told’ to do this.
Because it does Not make sense.

Perhaps it was, ‘For the Greater Good’
Perhaps it was, ‘Because he believed it”
Perhaps it was, he did not wanted to,  Commit Suicide, with his hands tied behind his back.
Perhaps it was, he made a deal, in return for something else.

OR, Perhaps it was, simply he was, ’Told to Do This’, by the ’secured’, powers, who told him, ’This will make all the, “Russia Investigations”, go away?

If they withhold their titanium from us, the aircraft industry will be in a real hurt....
