Savages in the news

This came up in my daily news feed.
I imagine that pipe is *really* loud.  It's got a cool rawness to it and I like what they did with the skid plate on the frame.

My ears hurt just looking at it!   Smiley

Pretty cool stuff there.  Maybe a little too mad max for me, but I could see myself loving it with minimal changes.  But, it's your bike and you did a great job.  Would love to see more details of your build.

---------------

I would be a little concerned about crosswinds with the disc wheels on a light bike.  Start slow!!

What did you use for the fork swap?. Did you have to reduce travel?

Forks are from a GSXR750. No travel reduced. They handle very well on the curvy roads and day to day riding. They are fully adjustable too which is awesome. Wheels aren't much heavier than stock as the wheel inserts are made out of aluminum. Crosswinds aren't bad as the bike is now so open, especially under the seat.  Smiley
