I was expecting to wake up to 50,000 dead Floridians floating around the state today but nothing.....

I saw a press conference yesterday where some official was asking his police commissioner if he had a large supply of body bags!

Think this was overblown a little?!

Now, on one hand, you could say better safe than sorry, but on the other hand, have they set up yet another Chicken Little situation? There hasn't been a hurricane hit Florida for 11 years I just heard. If another "storm" pops up a month from now, how many won't leave this time? And if it turns out to be a bad storm. then what?......

I think the global warming crowd was desperate for a disaster, something they could hang around Trump's neck like they hung the false Katrina millstone around Bush's neck.

When it was upgraded to category four, they made evacuation mandatory. Category four is sustained 100 mph winds. She's inland now in Kissimmee. From what she said last night, the state is taking this very seriously. I'll report back, if you'd like? --Steve

I'm just confused,,,, I'm trying So Hard to understand HOW can They know SO MUCH about what the weather will be in fifteen years, but have No Frikken CLUE where or how mean an Existing hurricane will be in two days.. ???
And, they have KNOWN for so long that hurricanes would increase in frequency and strength,, but Florida has made about a decade untouched.

Just How WRONG does someone have to be before they lose All credibility?

well, that's where WEATHER and CLIMATE differ.

and while Florida was untouched, in the Pacific, it was quite a different story, or don't you remember the news of the tremendous Typhoons they were getting in the Philippines and such

well, the "THEY" you are using are different THEYs one group are CLIMATE SCIENTISTS, the other group are METEOROLOGISTS, sometimes they cross over but not always. both can be independently wrong without contradiction

if you don't actually understand the difference... okay I get it....

I find it humorous that together, the weatherologists and climatologists, can scream about in ten years what horrors await, and WRONG AS FUKK FOR TWENTY YEARS, but they run in circles and scream
