sometimes I get down after hearing right wing fear/war mongering asshats talk as rude as they want, as loud as they want, they talk simply about complicated issues, like no one never thought dat dere before.

I want to retort, to educate, but then, they think I'm condescedning (not with that spelling) them or being a know-it all, when I can just see a MILLION more possibilities than they can.

It's no good, not worth even having a conversation about. believe what the big head on the radio/tv/internet that you already agree with tells ya, cause obviously that's all there is.

I'm done, sorry I ever bothered in the first place.

Like you I'm a registered Independent. And like you, I get a bit tired of all the "bad a$$" who are more than willing to wage war with other peoples' kids' lives. They are indulging in political rhetoric for the sake of getting attention. "Carpet bombing" a piece of desert is a very expensive exercise in futility, for any number of reasons that any experienced military person knows. Both sides of the aisle are espousing the politics of fear. "Political Correct" has become bullying one group's / minorities' opinions/ social status on others as superior to the rest...
