Things go right I'll be down within a half hour drive this summer.
Outta Galveston, cross San Luis pass, just down on the right.

Justin,

You may as well head out to Denton on the way home.

Justin,

Denton is about 30 miles north of Dallas.

If you take 35W North you will be within 2 miles of my place at Exit 79.

Bring a sleeping bag as we have no spare beds. (Because of adult children wanting to move back home).

The local beer is Shiner Bock, we have a goodly supply.

I don't understand exactly what the parameters are that delineate between an island and a continent, nor am I able to see just where something crosses over from enticement to straight up bribery...
Maybe after a few Shiners it'll come to me...
Or, maybe I'll just stop caring,,
That sounds like the best approach.

Justin,

We better move the subject of Shiner Bock to the cafe before we get reprimanded.

So, after following the carb guide to the t and reassembly (plus raptor petcock swap) i can now go 55 in top gear. May order some new jets now. Any thoughts?

I finally figured it out!!! The large jet under the float lid was swapped with my main jet. Figured "what the hell, swap em and see what happens" and it worked!!! Guess at some point the got swapped accidentally. Problem solved now!! Hopefully orher member can read this thread in the future and it could be a solution for them. Thank you all for your help and guidence. Ride safe!

Yahoo! Glad you're off and running. Nothing feels better than a successful troubleshoot.
