OK; so I ordered a float needle and seat for this little GZ250. I stopped to pick,it up and the grand total was 62.00 and some change
I had stopped at the bank and picked up a 50 to go get the set thinking it would be in the neighborhood of say 25-40 dollars.

EBay has a set for under 20. What th dickens is up with that?

What you got was OEM pricing.

What you wanted was aftermarket pricing.

You can't get aftermarket pricing from the stealership.

<rant>
try building a bike from scratch ... everything is $50 or $100 or $1000 ... PLUS SHIPPING EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN WHAT THE PART SELLS FOR ...

This is a small town. The zuki dealer is small and run by a couple. Thought I'd try to do the right thing and support a local business with my dollars.  guess I just can't afford to do that.

I think it's called biting the hand that feeds you.

Wow! I support the idea, fully, but there is a cut off point.
Supporting the local brick and mortar is nice, but Adopting them is a bit much.
