Not a new argument... It's been around the block awhile I believe.
Paradox, nope, contradiction, nope, try putting a loaded handgun to your forehead, the results will be absolute if you have a live round and pull the trigger.
They use this MINDSET as an avoidance to having admit a truth, on that which reveals their intellectual dishonesty.
Here lad, I believe you are a student, yes?
Lets take higher education as an example, OK?
Here is how their minds work to justify a social issues repair......
A university has only so many scholarships to award, for remember, it is a money making corporation, firstly
They will deny a "worthy" white male his scholarship, one that he met all the academia criteria, to qualify for, giving it to a lessor academic student, if they are a minority, and it helps them achieve their racial "quota" (however, we don't call it that) set by the fed to address discrimination of race issues....
Now lets formulate that action into practice, and see how their belief solves the "social" issue, which confuses me, for I thought school was to produce academia results firstly, as a first pass quality, not social issues, but, oh well.....
Anyway, back to the formula.
You MAY discriminate against "one" in order to achieve the results of "one" other, based on RACE, or GENDER, to achieve the results of cancelling out discrimination as the desired goal..... with me?
So, we can reduce our formula thus:
D multiplied by D = 0 We fixed that problem, absolutely no discrimination left, see, it ZEROED out
