Sounds like the classic "dead battery" sound. I haven't heard it on my Savage, but that's the sound engines tend to make when the battery is dead.  If you have a fresh battery, check the connections. It is possible that you could have a bad solenoid or something. Wait for the other guys to check in on it. Wink

Know the condition of the battery first, then check for proper power To the solenoid,
The solenoid has been found bad, but far more often than anything, it's the battery.
