Ruttly Serious Thumper Offline Thumpers Rule Posts: 4997 Manteca , CA Gender:	Using exhaust studs instead of stock bolts 02/07/16 at 23:40:49 Has anyone replaced the exhaust flange bolts with studs & nuts ? Any better or worse ? Most bikes use studs & nuts. Opinions please.

If you choose to - don't put a stud in there that will rust and get stuck in the head. Use stainless with some never-sieze on the threads, and a brass or stainless nut....with plenty of never-sieze during assembly.
