cs-1 speedo error.

I never have good luck with the search function...so I'll ask... how is the ryca-cs-1 speedo error.  I went by a police radar size at 30mph on the speedo, and the sign said 35mph.

typical????????   any fix?

Yeah, it's off. I have a correction chart tapped on my tank right now so I can verify the exact error, but a 5 mph error around 30 and a 10 mph error around 60 is what I'm seeing. Most speedo errors give too high of a reading. A low reading can get you in trouble if you're not aware.

How's the shoulder?

The green wire goes to the (-) ignition coil.

The red and blue are tied together and go to a +12VDC source. I believe that the red wire is the lamp.

The black is a frame ground.

The Speedo only has two wires. red (+) and black (-).

Gary:  thnking back, that's how I hooked it up.  blue and red twisted together coming off the horn hot.  green to coil.   thats 3 wires.

black?  yes ground.  a 4th wire???   is the ground wire to the case of the tach?   tach works perfect, just no light   was I supposed to add a ground?

Sounds like you did it right. It might be as simple as a blown bulb.
