If you're talking about the sprague clutch on the crankshaft, you have to get the puller.

Reading neillien72's listing in the Marketplace, combined with this one, it appears he has an 86 model and it has kicked back and broken the outer case (not sure if the inner case was damaged).

neillien72......Why do you feel you need to pull the rotor? Nothing in the thread I linked shows you need to pull the rotor to replace the idler gear with the torque limiter. Does your rotor have the little notch machined into it?

It requires a deposit of $ 100, and you pay shipping both ways, and the rental fee is $ 10. You will get your deposit back (minus the shipping cost to you) when you have returned the undamaged puller.
