Hardside Luggage

Wondering what hardside bags have been succesfully installed and used on a daily basis? Did a search on ebay but not sure how the cheap ones will work/last. Any experience/suggestion?

I was wondering about that too.
I would like to have hard case saddlebags, perhaps locking ones, that are a bit bigger than the stock bags.

Go to the icons at the top of the page, and click on the "search" button.  When the next page comes up type in "hard bags" or "hard luggage" or "luggage' or "bags", then click on the time frame you want to search, and then sit back and watch the results pop up.

Here is one that came up when I did that for you.

LeatherLyke Cruiser Saddlebags, about $460.
Blog, November 18, 2004.  Took three hours to re-locate the turn signals and mount the saddlebags:

Blog, October 14, 2005 -- Got rid of the stock muffler, got a long fishtail.  Went to Bike Night, only takes about 10 seconds to remove and remount the saddlebags:

Blog, January 06, 2013 -- After over 8 years / 30,000 miles I managed to kill my Savage.  A couple of gentle lay-downs, three mufflers, different tail light, headlight, seat, handlebar -- the Leatherlyke bags still on and still looking good:

Your Mileage May Vary.

Mutazu GA bags have been done by a few on here.
I bought some small bullet rear signals and a Saddlemen relocation bracket.  Mine are mounted directly to the stock rear fender with the chrome side rails removed.

This is pretty much exactly what I would want. Could you give me a bit of info on what you did here. Costs, tools needed, stuff like that.
