Title: Hardside Luggage Post by maquinadeldios on 11/18/14 at 13:25:15 Wondering what hardside bags have been succesfully installed and used on a daily basis? Did a search on ebay but not sure how the cheap ones will work/last. Any experience/suggestion? lee |
Title: Re: Hardside Luggage Post by Iceman4193 on 11/18/14 at 13:38:31 I was wondering about that too. I would like to have hard case saddlebags, perhaps locking ones, that are a bit bigger than the stock bags. |
Title: Re: Hardside Luggage Post by Dave on 11/18/14 at 15:31:15 Go to the icons at the top of the page, and click on the "search" button. When the next page comes up type in "hard bags" or "hard luggage" or "luggage' or "bags", then click on the time frame you want to search, and then sit back and watch the results pop up. Here is one that came up when I did that for you. http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1406778588/7#7 |

Title: Re: Hardside Luggage Post by Tocsik on 11/19/14 at 10:32:38 Mutazu GA bags have been done by a few on here. I bought some small bullet rear signals and a Saddlemen relocation bracket. Mine are mounted directly to the stock rear fender with the chrome side rails removed. http://i1115.photobucket.com/albums/k548/Tocsik87/S40/S40withbags_zps36bd1522.jpg http://i1115.photobucket.com/albums/k548/Tocsik87/S40/IMG_20141014_144948870_zps3f83613f.jpg http://i1115.photobucket.com/albums/k548/Tocsik87/S40/IMG_20141014_144915857_zps8ab444d6.jpg |

This is pretty much exactly what I would want. Could you give me a bit of info on what you did here. Costs, tools needed, stuff like that. |
