Someone may have posted this site previously; although, I thought it was interesting none the less. It lists nearly every make and model and a pretty darn good estimate of your rpms per gear based on your sprockets.
"Gearing Commander is a tool to calculate online the effect of changing various parts of a motorcycle's drive train."

That is a neat tool.....kinda hard to believe the top speed numbers even though they may be correct.
I can't imagine going over 50mph....nearly 60 in 1st gear at redline rpm.
(Oooh....never mind. The speed was in Kilometers).
The bike will reach about 36 mph in first gear if you wind the crap out of it.

Am I just paranoid in thinking that if I wind the bike up pretty high it sounds like it's going to shake itself apart? I guess that's life with a thumper.

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!
