Someone may have posted this site previously; although, I thought it was interesting none the less. It lists nearly every make and model and a pretty darn good estimate of your rpms per gear based on your sprockets.

I can't imagine going over 50mph....nearly 60 in 1st gear at redline rpm. (Oooh....never mind. The speed was in Kilometers). The bike will reach about 36 mph in first gear if you wind the crap out of it.
