Thanks!.. and thanks for coming by and riding some of my favorite roads with me.   And taking all those pictures and putting them out there for everyone to see!!  Very Nice!

Normally, I ain't much for riding with other people, but that was a LOT of fun!!
I truly enjoyed company, the Savage insights, and.. just about all of it.. except maybe the night time chainsaw contest.  Lips Sealed   Grin

Maybe we should to it again some time!   Cheesy

Hey youzguyz, we never did figure out if it was you, Versy or I that won that contest. On second thought, I really don't want to know.

If it was I, it was a desperate attempt to drown out the competition that was magnified by the tin ceiling.

anywho, once I had a pillow, I promptly dropped out of the competition.
(I swear, it was on my checklist)

somehow it just didn't bother me, though I'm told I was a competitor for a few hours as well  Grin
Also thought about changing my username to 'Hell' since that's apparently what I looked like...twice!  Grin
If it wasn't obvious, this was my first time riding in a group who actually have a clue how to ride in a group, it was awesome, wish I could do that more often
I did fail on the sign language, though, I never really knew what was going on, I just followed the guy in front of me and enjoyed

FYI. I kept track of fill ups on I-10 from San Antonio to Houston, about 188 miles. MPG, at 70-75 mph with numerous bursts to 80+ when passing 18 wheelers, was just under 43. Yikes!

That's right, I don't like riding close to 18 wheelers.

I've been known to draft them, but really it's smart to stay away from them
I didn't figure my mileage

Ummm.. yeah.. first thing I said.. before I even knew who you were, as you were dragging yourself back to the cabin from the restroom.

My bad..  Undecided   I didn't realize that not everyone was used to group riding.   I am a "veteran" ride leader, but it has been a while since I did it regularly.. so, no pre-ride brief.  I blame old age..  Tongue
Next time, someone remind me of what I am suppose to do!

It was all good and fun. Art, we all need to log a few more miles on the bike. Thank God we are all safe and sound, maybe a few bumps or scratches here or there, but all good. By the way, that was the most fun riding I have ever done. So again, thanks to everybody there.

Keep thumping!

By the way youzguyz, I am envious of you. You have all that good riding so close to you and you actually take advantage of it. That is awesome.

heck youzguys, i should have spoken up. It's all good, we all enjoyed, and only a few lumps (and a windsield)
I have decided 2 things
1 i will replace me screen with a smaller one 9probably the stock one) as I believe looking through the screen threw off my depth perception
2 when I save up enough, I'm gonna do the MSF BRC, as despite 20+ years riding, I believe I have some gaps in my bike handling skills
I also envy youzguys riding situation, but I got some decent roads around here, too (and gonna find more lol)
even the freeway riding was better, in a group
and I still want a Dyna Muff  Wink
