“What you allow, Will Continue”
When a, group, of teens, in a ‘gang’.
(And before all the Liberals, get their underwear in a bunch)
“Gang” Also refers to, kids in 4-H, Boy/Girl Scouts.
It refers to the, ‘Shriners’, or, ‘Lions Club’, Or a, stamp club, or a coin club, etc.
It is simply, Different, gangs, have different outlooks, and different leaders.
And are, ’taught’ different things!
(Gee, their are, ‘gangs’ of motorcycle riders.
some ride around, enjoying the roads, scenery, towns and people.
Some are ‘feared’, when they come into a town)
In Minn, ’That’, group, was, TAUGHT.
And was Used to, And Expected, That, Anyone they encountered,
Was To be, ‘afraid’, of them by their actions/speaking/dress.
In MN, especially, 40-50 miles away,
(from the core of the ‘big’ City),
That type of behavior is, NOT, considered the, ’norm’.
A friend of mine, teaches school, (5th grade),
in a school district, where they have the lowest graduation rate,
in the State, and one of the Highest, costs per student.
Almost twice as high, as one of the most effluent,
expensive, districts, which has a 99.9% graduation rate.
He has been teaching their, for 18 years,
(Drives 35 miles from the country to the city, ONE way, each day).
For the last 10 years, he has been grousing, about how hard it is.
For the last 8 years, I have told him, well, ‘QUIT”,
and get a job out here, You would get hired in a heartbeat!
He tells me: “I Can’t afford to work out here”.
So, “WE”, Allow, the Citizens, of the USA, to be divided even More.
“WE”, Allow it, by, NOT voting, We allow it by, NOT participating.
WE, Allow IT, by NOT running for he local public office.
WE, allow it by, Not holding the public Officials, (who are elected), feet to the fire.
Put Down the Piazza, and turn Off the TV,
and STOP, Letting the ‘government’, deal with it.
Because it is so much easier.
The, Leaders of some, ‘gangs’, TEACH, young people,
Even though we have the freedom of the 1st Amendment.
You don’t yell: “FIRE” in a crowed theater.
They teach them, ‘common sense’, and the ‘Golden Rule’.
they teach them to behave, they teach them to be respectful.
They Help them, ‘Grow-Up”, and become, Part of the Society they live in,
Not become a, burden, or feared, to those around.
Leaders of, ‘other’, Gangs, teach:
“You do what ever you want to do, to anyone you want to do it to,
and when you do, NOTHING will ever happen to you”
We will probably, never, get back to the, ‘Viewed as idyllic life’,
Where, Beaver Cleaver’s biggest fear,
would have been, to hit a baseball,
in a sand lot game, and it went through Mr. Wilson’s window.
Things change. Look at how the word, ‘GAY’ has changed.
and if said today, it is the, ’NEW’, definition, NOT the, ‘old’, one,
that is, ‘automatically’, applied.
(Woe be it, if someone, was sincerely using the, ‘old’ definition,
and a, ‘do gooder’, overheard them)
Are their, ‘bad’ people? Well Sure ! Always has been, always will be.
But I believe the, ‘goal’ is to, Teach, by what ever method works,
And whichever people can, ( Parents/parent, school Teachers, mentors, leaders of, ‘gangs’,
people behind the counter of retail establishments, people working in fast food or sit down restaurants,
Customers of such, people standing at the Buss stop, (or on one),
All People, in any and all, interaction.
That, ‘bad’, behavior, is NOT to be accepted or condoned.
And to do that, one has to: STAND UP !
That Will Not, happen over night.
However if, “WE” ALL, take a role, in, ’teaching’.
Over time, their will be less, ‘bad’, people.
And their are people that will, vigorously, disagree, on, ‘HOW’ to do that.
Absolutely, Of Course !!!!!!!!
(I have a couple of, very good friends, who I will trust my 6 to ANYTIME,
and, they could be easily labeled, ‘Liberal’).
I, If you haven’t guessed so far, I lean to the, ‘conservative’, side.
And why we, ‘argue’ about the ‘best’ way,
we STILL share a Beer & Hot dog, and are civil to each other,
and don’t, KILL, each other, JUST Because we disagree.
But we, DO, agree, it has gotten, Out Of Hand!
