Camchain, tensioner, guides
06/27/14 at 03:56:50

Hello, i'm from Portugal, and only found 2 forums related to this bike lol, this and 1 German lol, so here I am.

My doubt is the following, I have a Savage 93, which says it has 10,000 km, as I do not believe in Father Christmas, I decided to do a comprehensive review. Grin

Okay so this tensor

And while the tensioner so it is not time to change the chain, guides and tensioner?

've Seen that is a problem that these bikes have ever seen and that there are changes that are made.

But I also think that the more the chain is stretched, the greater the likelihood of it breaking.

At this time the tension is 23 mm outside.

best regards

You need Verslagen's cam chain tensioner modification NOW!  Check out the Technical Documents or the Marketplace. THere are lots of topics on his modification, how it works and how to buy from him. Welcome to the forum!

at 23mm it's ready to fall apart... don't ride it till you get it fixed.

either you have to replace the chain or get one of these...

Replacing the chain will give you some time before it destroys your engine but the smart thing to do would be to contact Versylagen on this forum and get the tensioner...
money well spent and much easier than replacing the cam chain...
