Have a Garman, 'Oregon 450".
(4-1/2 x 2-3/8 x 1-1/4")
Use it mostly for fishing.  In the boat easy to find the, "SPOT" on the water.
(Can easily, 'mark' it)
Much harder when the water is, 'HARD'  (Ice), and your are driving.

It is self contained, has a 'map'.  Want to perch it on the handlebars.

At this point, thinking of ways to,  'McGiver', something.
Rather than spending 100's, on a  China piece of molded plastic.

Anybody done this, any ideas?

Ben Franklin once said: "If you give up a freedom, for the sake of security, you will have neither".
Which is More TRUE, today, than yesterday.('06, S-40, Stock) well, mostly .

Ram mounts maybe plastic but they work well and aren't that expensive.
I have two, no problems with either, check them out.
