What aftermarket front foot pegs ??
05/26/14 at 08:44:08

I have to replace the front foot pegs on my 2001 savage and want something nicer and more custom and I would like to know which footpegs to buy. I don't want stock. What will fit. I want something with chrome and grip for the feet, any manufacturer and model suggestion please, thanks !

I had a set from them (D-Z Customs) and they fit great.

How do those pegs connect?  They don't have that hook at the end.  Aren't they loose?

How about the hook that the left side has, it doesn't matter ?
I'll take your word for it and order a pair If they work, any mods to do, thanks !Beagle wrote on 05/26/14 at 18:47:18:

The bottom square edge of the peg mount rests upon the inside of our mount.

What DG does is redrill the mounting hole of the Harley pegs with close enough tolerance so the peg doesn't droop (much, it's gonna droop a little or it won't fit every bike out there)

I figured their would be some play.  Someone else suggested using some wave washers to get it steady.

I've got some Harley Pegs I plan on trying to get one my bike using some of those washers.   They look similar and I've got a screw that fits in there...plus, my friend gave them to me for free!  So, I think I can afford a few washers to try it out.  Smiley

An additional way to make HD pegs fit is to take the bolt that holds your stock peg with you and your new pegs into Lowes and root around til you find the right size replacement stainless allen head bolt and a brass collar that fits in the hole. You may need to add some stainless washers to fill some of the slop, but it is a heck of alot easier than trying to drill out the hole on custom pegs.

A used pair of ISO pegs off a HD that I adapted to mine:
